We’ll guide you on a 3.5 mile hike to view Lula Falls before heading up to the bluff, where Michelle will lead a gentle lunar yoga practice as the full moon rises over the valley. Winter Hike Challenge Ends March 19

Big thank you to all the nature lovers who joined our winter hike challenge! We enjoyed our last group hike on March 2 at North Chickamauga Creek Gorge with these fine folks. We’re proud to report that the 39 folks who joined the challenge contributed miles to the collective good of their own health and towards the health of our environment. With their help, we planted 50 trees with One Tree Planted in the Appalachia region! This act will help future generations breathe easier! The challenge ends March 19 so there’s still time to get those last few miles in. Everyone that completes the full 90 miles in 90 days will be entered for a chance to win a pair of hiking boots! Big thanks to Rock Creek Outfitters, REI Chattanooga and Four Bridges Outfitters for sponsoring this challenge and offering up some cool prizes to incentivize us all to get out and hike more during the winter months!

Outshine Adventures Road Tour

If y’all read last month’s newsletter to the end, then you were the first to learn about the big changes and the epic adventure we have in store for 2024! If you didn’t, here’s what you missed!

We’re excited to share that we’re collaborating with Vandoit and Nomad Be Happy to embark on a 6 month road tour starting in May 2024! Our new year intentions were to travel more and have new adventures in new places and we are positively pumped those manifestations are coming true! The road tour will take us all across the country showing off Vandoit’s newest build – the Moov Model and recruiting Vandoit owners to join the Nomad Be Happy rental fleet. We’ll attend large events like San Fransisco Pride and Roam Fest and also set up smaller events like Sip & See’s at local breweries/coffee shops and Pop up Paddles + Community Yoga sessions along the way.

Want us to come to your neck of the woods? Reach out here and tell us where you’re located, what you have in mind and let’s see if we can collaborate to create something magical! Are you a fellow nomad? Give us your best recommendations of places we must visit, things we must do and any other wanderful tips you’re wiling to share. Leave your suggestions here.

Embarking on this grand adventure means we’ll be taking a break from offering guided tours and outdoor experiences in Chattanooga this season. While we’re a little teary-eyed about stepping away, the truth is, we’re bursting with excitement for this change and we’re incredibly grateful to Vandoit and Nomad Be Happy for giving us the opportunity to explore the world in a whole new way!

But there’s good news too! The Outshine van will remain in Chattanooga and be available for rentals during our travels. So, if you’re feeling inspired by what we’re doing and ready for a road trip of your own, book your vancation today! You can experience vanlife and explore in comfort and style, just like us.

With love and gratitude,

Sunshine + Michelle, founders of Outshine Adventures + Yoga
