Join Outshine Adventures for a cool SUP and SIP adventure on Nickajack Lake followed by a full sampler of wines from Lookout Winery. This relaxing adventure will begin with a leisurely paced paddle around a small inlet of Nickajack Lake with up-close views of Nickajack Cave Wildlife Refuge, which is home to hundreds of thousands of endangered gray bats! The adventure concludes with a gorgeous view overlooking the river from the beautiful porch at Lookout Mountain Winery while enjoying a full sampling of their wines. This is a beginner-friendly adventure. No previous paddling experience is necessary to participate. Our experienced guide(s) will offer basic paddling instruction and ensure you're properly outfitted prior to embarking on the adventure. Following the brief safety briefing and paddling instruction, your guide will lead you onto the calm waters of Nickajack Lake towards Nickajack cave while offering helpful tips and interesting facts about the surrounding area. All participants must be 21+ to partake in the full experience. The 2.5 hours for this adventure includes time paddling on the water and transportation time to the winery. Wine sampling is after the paddleboard adventure to let you enjoy the ambiance of the wine and scenery at your own leisure. You may even want to stay for dinner and enjoy Lookout Mountain Winery's wood-fired pizza! (This is not included in the cost). Cost includes guides, instruction, paddleboard, paddle, life jacket, and a full wine sampler from Lookout Mountain Winery. Limit 8 participants per tour.
