Enjoy paddling in the heart of downtown Chattanooga on the Tennessee River on a 2-hour, guided and fully equipped paddle board adventure. Perfect for beginners or intermediate paddlers who want a unique adventure while seeking a new perspective and exploring some of Chattanooga's scenic waterways. We will launch from Coolidge Park, paddle upstream against a gentle current. We will pass under the Market and Walnut Street Bridges, paddle around Maclellan Island, passing by the bluff and Hunter Museum back downstream to where we started. All adventurers receive basic paddling instruction, water safety information and are properly outfitted for adventure, so you don't have to be experienced to participate in this tour. Price includes the guided tour, a shuttle, and all required equipment (board, paddle, and lifejacket). This adventure is appropriate for ages 14+ with a participating adult. Some paddling experience is helpful but not required. Guides will provide basic paddling instruction and on-water support throughout the duration of the tour, which lasts approximately 2 hours. *** Please note that river currents can fluctuate daily and change rapidly. If our guides determine that water levels are too high for an easy upstream paddle or are unsafe to paddle, we reserve the right to cancel or change the location of this adventure.***
